Ashbourne, Derbyshire Wedding
When South Africa meets Derbyshire serious Wedding magic happens. This was one beautiful Derbyshire wedding, filled with beautiful people inside-out and set against idyllic Derbyshire wedding backdrops, with real-life sheep. Leigh-Anne & George, you totally nailed it! And then some!!! Or, as your best man Tank would say, you totally BOWLED us over. It’s totally cricket to pour yourselves a glass of South African grape juice, to enjoy with this stunner of an Ashbourne, Derbyshire wedding. You might need one if the puns continue!! 😉
If you’re getting married in Derbyshire, then it doesn’t get much more quintessential than All Saints Church, Brailsford, Ashbourne; hidden down a long tree-lined drive & surrounded by rolling Derbyshire hills. I say hidden because the South Africans and even local taxi drivers struggled to find it! But it was definitely worth the wait to see these two stunners tie the knot.
No Ashbourne, Derbyshire wedding would be complete without a trip to the farm, so it was back to George’s Mum’s for a big old party. Although, this was less muddy boots and tractors and more tails, marquee and espresso martinis.
Leigh-Anne you were the most gorgeous bride to photograph. That Suzanne Neville dress looked divine and mega shout out to Nadia Di Tullio for creating those amazing bouquets with the biggest proteas I’ve ever seen, keeping that South African flag flying.
Creating your own wedding venue in a field in Ashbourne is always going to get you grafting but with Leigh-Anne’s amazing vision and the help of the truly awesome Natalie Hewitt wedding planner, this was a unique and special wedding at George’s family home. We are so thankful to have shared your day with you all – what an amazing bunch of friends and family, who all made us feel super welcome. Huge congratulations LA & George! Here are some photos of just a few of your highlights… XXX
