Outdoor Ceremony – Michaela & Adam
How do you make a field the hottest place to be on a rainy day in Surrey? You put Michaela and Adam in it! If Carlsberg did brides and grooms… This is how you do an outdoor ceremony in England. You don’t care if it rains. You don’t care if your wedding dress gets muddy. You don’t even care if the tipi floods a bit. Because you’ve waited a whole extra year (and a week) for this. You’ve travelled, quarantined, tested; planned and re-planned. You’ve moved mountains to be sure that all your favourite people can be by your sides. So you’re bringing your A game, turning the volume up to 11 and you will PARTY!
Michaela & Adam made their wedding vows in a picturesque field, surrounded by guests seated on hay bales, to give their outdoor ceremony a natural, relaxed and intimate atmosphere. The bride’s sister and groom’s brother conducted a beautiful, personal ceremony, with a heartfelt reading by the couple’s nephew, which left a few people wiping away more than a few raindrops! Something in your eye fellas?!!
I can’t believe we’re on paragraph 3 before I mention THE dress. I mean…. come on!!! This absolute stunner is by Rime Arodaky at The Mews Bridal Boutique and looks like it was designed just for Michaela – elegant, sassy, pretty. She looked sublime. The bridesmaids added an extra drop of gold in their yellow jewel dresses by Mimetik Atelier.
As if these two weren’t cool enough, Adam dropped a mega DJ set after sundown. Mad tunes, your new wife, your best mates and no curfew. Life doesn’t get much better.
We’re so thankful to have been along with you two on your wedding ride. It wasn’t all smooth sailing and we salute your strength and courage to create your day your way. It was well worth the wait. We think you’re ace and here are some photos to prove it!
