South Farm Wedding Photographer – Karina & Jamie
Karina & Jamie’s South Farm wedding scored the ultimate wedding hat trick… blue skies, sunshine & an outdoor ceremony (in England). Boom! And we all ate ice creams and mountain-high plates of pad-thai. Double boom! We’re super happy to share this triple whammy of gorgeousness – a super hot bride & groom, a stunning venue & that golden evening glow for an extra shot of photography magic.
Since celebrating our best friends’ wedding at South Farm last year as real-life wedding guests & looking on longingly, as another (fantastic) photographer created awesome photos, we’d been crossing our fingers & waiting for our chance to photograph a South Farm wedding. Enter Karina & Jamie. A South Farm wedding in May? Don’t mind if we do!
We knew photographing this wedding was going to be super special from the moment we chatted to Karina & Jamie about all their wedding plans. We always love discovering other cultures’ wedding traditions, so when Karina told us her family were travelling over from Lithuania we wondered what this might involve… When I googled Lithuanian wedding traditions I read about the kidnap the bride game & was slightly concerned that Jamie may have to complete a dazzling array of challenges to win his bride back. A relieved Jamie assured us that he’d already passed the test, so instead Karina & Jamie incorporated the tradition of the bread ceremony or “wedding pie”. This is a special dish of bread, which symbolises abundance and prosperity & was offered to the newly-weds by Karina’s parents.
We could talk a lot about how beautiful this wedding is – the bride!!! the coral & white peonies, the wisteria-covered buildings… but instead we’ll let you enjoy the photographs because they express what words simply cannot. We’d like to wish Karina & Jamie a huge congratulations. You guys are aces! Thank you for sharing your wedding day with us. xx
