Back Garden Wedding Photography Polly & Alex
“WOW. We are overjoyed and overwhelmed. You have captured the best day of our lives so perfectly – everyone looks full of love and that they’re having the most fun which is exactly how we remembered it. Thank you for the warmth and soul you have put into taking and preserving these memories, we couldn’t have imagined anything better. We were so lucky to have you there.”
When I think of Polly & Al’s wedding day two things immediately spring into my mind. Polly’s dance moves. Boom. And that song ‘I’ve got so much love to give’. I have no idea whether they actually played the track because I was too busy loving the gold dress Polly whipped on for dance floor action but these guys & their friends & family have a lot of love to give and we’ve got so much love for these two and their beautiful wedding. So that song is now officially their anthem. And Back Garden wedding photography is officially bloody awesome.
We were super excited to finally get to see Polly’s sister’s house, which she & her husband designed & built themselves & made the perfect venue for a back garden wedding, surrounded by the Devon countryside and a short walk down to the ceremony at Sidbury village Church. They even built a fire pit just a few days before to keep everybody toasty in the evening. Polly’s Dad devotedly grew every single flower that you see & the whole day was punctuated by the vibrant colours of the amazing homegrown blooms.
To say that Polly & Alex are wedding legends is a bit of an understatement. Tequila slammers to end the speeches, clambering fences and jumping into fields to catch the sunset, the most confetti at a wedding you’ve ever seen ever, serious shapes all over the dance floor and hangover prevention pasties to end the night. You guys totally did this in the best possible way. Congratulations Polly & Al – we salute you and your sister’s back garden! xxx
Super frames guys!!
