The Ashes Wedding Photography – Katie & Ollie

What a way to kick-start our 2016 wedding photography season, with the gorgeous Katie & Ollie getting themselves all married at The Ashes wedding venue, Endon.

We love The Ashes wedding venue & when you arrive on the wedding morning & discover that in the evening there’ll be a whole barn dedicated to ping pong, sorry table-tennis, you know this wedding is going to be truly awesome. When the bride & groom eagerly hop on vintage bicycles without brakes just for the photo opportunity you know all your dreams are made. These two are totally brilliant & we absolutely loved photographing their vintage sports themed Ashes wedding. Katie’s Nan got more showered in confetti than the bride or groom, there were tambourines shakin’ all over the dance-floor, table-tennis got hot, sweaty & serious & there were some mooooooves going on. Katie & Ollie know how to throw a party & we’re so happy we were there to capture it all. The Ashes wedding venue is absolutely stunning, with so many beautiful spots for photography. We caught some of that magical light, we shared some moments, laughed a lot & made some gorgeous portraits. And my, my, don’t the bride & groom look mighty fine?! Katie was sublimely elegant in her beautiful gown by Charlie Brear & I fell in love with her vintage-style Rachel Simpson shoes… I might just have to invest in a pair for our wedding… The daffodils were just starting to poke their heads, which was picked up in Ollie’s yellow tie & daffodil button-hole & this wedding really felt like a gorgeous new beginning for Katie & Ollie.
