Rime Arodaky Bride – Emily & Jon
Rime Arodaky Bride
Ever since beginning the hunt for my own wedding dress I’ve been a massive fan of Rime Arodaky, so when Emily let slip that she was a Rime Arodaky Bride, I couldn’t wait to see her dress. The official hashtag is actually Rime Arodaky Babe and when you see Emily in this bad gal you’ll see why. This Rime Arodaky Bride / Babe perfectly combined classic, beautiful & sophisticated but with a rock n roll edge, keeping her hair down & loose & her bouquet wild. Très chic and very Parisienne, with a hint of the 60s. It was definitely THE dress for a bride & groom who rocked the Church with a Bob Dylan classic. Kudos!
Emily is a knitwear designer & Jon is a fashion designer, too, so their whole wedding oozed hipster style, from the Rime Arodaky gown, provided by the awesome team at The Mews Bridal in Notting Hill, to Jon’s hot (in more ways than one!) wool suit, the Triumph wedding car, stunning blooms & allllll that macrame.
Macrame Wedding
This was quite literally a homespun wedding. When Emily told me she was going to make every single guest their own little macrame hanging I thought ambitious but not only did she do that but she also created the most immense macrame hanging chandeliers for inside the marquee. Now that is dedication to style!!!
When you decide to host your wedding in an empty field there’s always a lot of grafting involved but what Emily & Jon and their amazing team created was a little piece of boho luxury in Emily’s hometown, complete with hay bales, Persian rugs, a wandering band & tug of war.
Emily & Jon you are forever our style gurus & I’m so grateful to have spent the whole day oohing and aching over the Rime Arodaky. It really should be worn more than once, so maybe a massive anniversary party next year??!! We’d be there!!!
Here’s a little taster of your amazing wedding. Thank you so much for inviting us to photograph your day. You rock! XXX
